  • Hole puncher
  • Text or letters to decorate
  • Push pins or thumbtacks

How to Make Your Umoja Banner:

  1. Gather Supplies: Get all your materials ready.
  2. Prepare the Paper: Fold and cut the construction paper into triangles.
  3. Punch Holes: Use the hole puncher to make a hole at the top of each triangle.
  4. Thread the Yarn: Push the yarn through each hole, alternating colors (black, red, green).
  5. Hang Your Banner: Ask an adult to help you use push pins or thumbtacks to hang your banner.
  6. Enjoy: Celebrate Umoja with your beautiful banner!
